5 . If you’re currently using Active Directory authentication mode , Local
authentication mode is selected by automatically , and Active Directory
authentication
mode displays dimmed . Click Finish . All your existing user da t a
and
user assignments are dele t ed, and you can add new users (as described in
“Adding
users”) and assign them to shared folders (as described in “Assigning
users to shared folders”).
If you’re currently using local authentication mode, Active Directory
authentication
mode is selected automatically , and Local authenticat ion
mode displays dimmed. Click Next . The Active Directory Server page
displays
.
6 . In the Primary server IP address text box, enter the IP address of your primary
Active Directory server . (You cannot use the server’s name . )
7 . If desired, enter the IP address o f a secondary Active Directory server in the
Secondary server IP address text box. (You canno t use the server’s name.)
This
server will be used if the primary Ac t ive Directory server is not available .
The secondary server must be in the same domain as the primary server .
8. Click Next .
The Active Directory User Login page displays.
