5.5 Intercom
a) Calling Another Handset
1. The handset is in standby (no tone).
2. Press the program key (4).
3. Press the arrow down (11) or arrow up (3) key until INTERCOM is dis-
played.
4. Press the program key (4).
5. INT is displayed.
6. Press a key from 1 to 5 on the numerical keypad (9) to select the handset
you want to call.
7. As soon as the internal calling partner answers the call, the counter will start.
8. To end the communication, press the line key (2) or replace the hand-
set in its cradle.
b) External Incoming Call During Internal Call
1. The loudspeakers of the handsets holding an internal communication emit
a call waiting tone (double tone).
2. Press the line key (2) twice to end the internal call and to answer the
external incoming call.
3. To end the communication, press the line key (2) or replace the hand-
set in its cradle.
5.6 Transferring a Call to Another Handset
1. You have a communication with an external calling partner.
2. Press the program key (4).
3. Press the arrow up key (3) until INTERCOM is displayed.
4. Press the program key (4).
5. Your external calling partner is put on hold.
6. INT is displayed.
7. Press a key from 1 to 5 on the numerical keypad to select the handset to
which you want to transfer your external calling partner.
8. When your internal call is answered, press the line key (2) to end your
communication and to transfer the call.
9. If your internal call is not answered, press the arrow down key (11) to take
back the external calling partner.
