3. The phone repeats the programmed security code or the default one.

a) Programming
1. Press the program key (4) twice to access answering machine opera-
tion mode.
2. Press numerical key 0.
3. SET is displayed.
4. Shortly press numerical key 9 .
5. SET TIME is displayed and the phone says EINSTELLEN TAG (SET DAY) followed
by a day of the week.
6. Repeatedly press numerical key 1 or 3 to set the day of the week.
7. Shortly press numerical key 9 to confirm the set day of the week.
8. The phone says EINSTELLEN UHR (SET HOUR) followed by a number.
9. Repeatedly press numerical key 1 or 3 to set the time.
10. Shortly press numerical key 9 to confirm the set hour.
11. The phone says EINSTELLEN MINUTEN (SET MINUTES) followed by a number.
12. Repeatedly press numerical key 1 or 3 to set the minutes.
13. Shortly press numerical key 9 to confirm the set minutes.
14. The phone repeats the newly set day and time.
NOTES:
If, during programming, you do not press any key for 8 seconds, the phone will
repeat the old time setting and return to standby. The updated time setting will
not be saved.
