3. Installation
3.1 Power Supply
For maximum battery capacity, charge the battery for the first time at least 20
hours without connecting the telephone line.
1. Insert the power plug (13) in the power jack (18) in the back of the base
set.
2. Plug the adaptor (13) into a power outlet (220 V ~)
(Fig. 1).
3. Open the battery compartment (15) (Fig. a).
4. Connect the battery and install it into the compartment
(15) (Fig. b).
5. Close the battery compartment (15) (Fig. c).
6. Install the handset on the base set. The line/charge
indicator (20) / will light up.

Install the phone on a stable and flat surface with at least 25 mm free space
for ventilation.
3.2 Telephone Line
1. Plug the telephone line cord (14) into the telephone line jack (17) in the
back of the base set (Fig. 2).
2. Plug the other end of the telephone line cord in the telephone wall outlet
(Fig. 2).
