5 Agilent E5025 Cryogen Monitor
Application start-up
You can open the Cryogen Monitor software interface in
either of the ways described in the following section.
Running from VnmrJ
To open the cryogen interface from VnmrJ:
1 Configure the Cryogen Monitor to be Present using the
System “config” window, as shown.
2 Select View Cryogens from the VnmrJ Tools menu to
open the Cryogen Monitor software interface.
Starting from a command shell
To start the user interface application outside of VnmrJ:
1 Enter the following in a command shell:
> /vnmr/bin/cryomon [-vnmrj]
-vnmrj is an optional argument that causes the interface
to adopt the same look- and- feel as when the interface is
opened from VnmrJ. Otherwise, the currently selected
system theme is used.
Reader-mode user interface
When the Cryogen Monitor application is opened in “reader”
mode, the following main interface panel is shown:

The information available for Nitrogen and Helium status is
the same. It consists of a progress bar that shows the
current level, a History button that displays a graph of the
log file, and an Update button used to select between one of
