The advanced features are described in the following:
Level adjustment controls The values associated with the
“fill”, “warn”, and “alert” levels can be set using the slider
and associated pull down controls in the first line in the
advanced features subpanel.
These settings are saved in a file called cryomon.prefs in the
/vnmr/cryo/cryomon folder.
History controls The “MaxDays” field can be used to change
the maximum number of days that the software saves level
and status history. (The default value is 1000 days.) Clicking
Clear causes the history file to be reset so that it contains
only its last entry.
Server status The Server status button displays whether a
server application is currently active in the background. This
is displayed if such a process was running when the
interface was first started from VnmrJ or if you answered,
“yes” in the initial pop- up dialog. In these cases, the server
status button is inactive (pressed in) and shows the text
“running”. Otherwise, the button is active (not pressed) and
displays the text “Start”.
