Description
This hardkey accesses the automatic level control (ALC) functions.

ALC BW Menu
Accesses the ALC bandwidth menu.

Coupling Factor
Species the coupling factor of an
external coupling device and causes
the display to indicate the p ower at
the coupler main output.

Leveling Mode ALCoff
Disables the ALC leveling circuits.
Relativepower level is controlled
by means of the level DAC and
attenuator. Power is not sensed at
any point, and absolute power level is
uncalibrated.

Leveling Mode Normal Sets the swept signal generator to
continuous leveling at the specied
leveling p oint.

Leveling Mode Search
The swept signal generator activates
power search leveling mo de.
Similar to ALCo mo de, but rst
automatically searches for the correct
mo dulator setting so that the desired
power level is pro duced.

Leveling Point ExtDet
Sets the swept signal generator to
level power externally. A negative
detector output must be connected to
the EXT ALC input.
