AMPS/136 Mobile Measurements
Measuring Analog Transmit Power
This measurement can only be performed with the mobile on an analog voice channel
(AVC).
1. Establish a call with the mobile on an analog voice channel.
2. Press the
Measurement selection key.
3. Select the Analog Transmit Power measurement.
4. Press the Analog Transmit Power Setup (
F1) key.
5. Set the measurement parameters as needed for your measurement situation.
To see the effects of sending a power level change command to the mobile, press Anl
MS TX Level (
F9) and slowly change the setting while observing the Analog Transmit
Power display.
Observe how sending a change power level
command causes the mobile’s output
level to change.
