26. Set the MXAâs
trigger source to LXI
LAN
:LIST:TRIG:SOUR LAN This command is sent
to the MXA.
27. Configure the
MXAâs LXI Output LAN
Event
:LXI:EVENt:OUTPut:LAN:DRIVe
âLAN1â, NORmal
:LXI:EVENt:OUTPut:LAN:SLOPe
âLAN1â,POS
:LXI:EVENt:OUTPut:LAN:SOURce
âLAN1â,âWaitingForTriggerâ
These commands are
sent to the MXA.
Together, these
commands will cause
the MXA to send a
âLAN1â peer to peer
message every time the
âWaitingForTrigger"
instrument event
changes state.
28. Enable the MXAâs
LXI LAN Event trigger
:TRIG:LXI:LAN:ENABled âLAN0â,1 This command is sent
to the MXA.
29. Enable the MXAâs
LXI Output LAN
Events
:LXI:EVENt:OUTPut:LAN:ENABled
âLAN1â,1
:LXI:EVENt:OUTPut:LAN:ENABled
âOperationCompleteâ,1
These commands are
sent to the MXA.
The âLAN1â peer to
peer message is now
enabled.
The MXA will send an
âOperationCompleteâ
peer to peer message
when the
âOperationCompleteâ
instrument event
changes state.
30. Begin the MXGâs
list sweep
:INIT:CONT ON This command is sent
to the MXG.
This will cause the
MXG to put out a signal
at the first frequency in
its list. It will also
begin waiting for the
alarm to fire before
moving on to the next
signal.
