NOTE
Make sure you remove the electrode on the right before removing the left
electrode.
To remove the electrodes:
NOTE
The same procedure is relevant for the removal of both the left and right
electrodes, however the orientation of the two are reversed.
1 Remove the window assembly from the right-hand electrode
housing.
2 Open the furnace using the lever, and pull the center cooling
block away from the left-hand electrode housing. Position the
cooling block over the back of the unit to maximize access to the
electrodes. Do not damage the cooling water tubing.
3 Pass the bolt from the supplied kit through the electrode on the
right from the right side. The threaded portion of the bolt will
protrude through the electrode.
