Engine stop circuit

Check t
he function of the safety circuit before
each startup and during each maintenance work.
•
The engine must stop when the stop switch
is in "OFF" position.
•
Check the electrical cables and connections.
Replace if necessary.

Check the function of the safety circuit before
each startup and during each maintenance work.
• Wh
eel and mower drive must stop automati-
cally (disengage) and the locking straps
must engage when you release the safety
lever (C/4) and the clutch lever C/5.
•
The clutch must engage when you actuate
the safety lever (C/4) up to the stop at the
handle. The cl
utch must not slip. If neces-
sary, check the Bowden cable and adjust it
at the Bowden cable adjusting screw.
• Release the locknut.
• Adjust the adjusting screw as required.
•
Tighten the locknut to the hand lever bear-
ing.

Clutch lever for reverse movement
The clutch lever for reverse movement (C/5)
must be adjusted such that the machine
starts
reversing when the safety lever is released and
the clutch lever is pulled by approximately 2/3.
The function of safety circuit and clutch may
require an adjustment of the V-
belt tension on
the drive rollers. See page 50.
