Preventative Maintenance (perform after every
use)
In order to keep the unit operating satisfactorily,
perform the following procedure after every use:
1. Clean and wipe off the outside of the unit of
any residual liquid aerosol reagent with a non-
flammable cleaning agent.
2. Check the unit for liquid aerosol reagent
leakages. Tighten the drain plug if necessary.
3. Check the output nozzle for blockage or
deposits.
4. Check the output adapter for looseness.
5. Check for looseness of fasteners around the
unit. Tighten any loose fasteners as
necessary.
6. If the generator is to be stored for an extended
time, perform the Shutdown and Transportation
Procedures in Chapter 4 before storing.
