What to do if appears on ALADIN Diving Instrument?
    • D
      donnahillAug 2, 2025
If the ALADIN Diving Instrument displays '' instead of the diving depth, it's likely due to many repetitive dives, ascents that were too fast, yoyo-diving, or ignored decompression stops, leading to a high number of microbubbles. To resolve this, plan longer surface intervals and aim for lower-risk dives.

Why are desaturation and no fly times so long on my ALADIN Diving Instrument?
    • M
      Michael JonesAug 8, 2025
If desaturation time and/or no-fly time are excessively long on your ALADIN Diving Instrument, it could be due to slow tissue and/or little workload at the surface. Alternatively, it might be caused by many repetitive dives, yoyo-diving, or disregarding decompression stops, leading to a large number of microbubbles. Plan sufficiently long surface intervals and dives at lower risk.

How to fix the altitude section on ALADIN PRO Diving Instrument?
    • G
      gstoneAug 16, 2025
If the altitude section on your ALADIN Diving Instrument doesn't match your current altitude, it could be due to an unusually high or low atmospheric pressure; in this case, check meteorological information. Alternatively, the air pressure measured by the computer may be incorrect. If the altitude section is wrong by more than one section, send the dive computer in for servicing.

Why are desaturation time and no fly time very long on my ALADIN PRO?
    • V
      vgilesAug 25, 2025
The desaturation time and/or no fly time on your ALADIN Diving Instrument might be very long due to several reasons. It could be because of slow tissue and/or little workload at the surface, requiring a sufficiently long surface interval and dives at lower risk. Also, too many repetitive dives, yo-yo-diving, square profile repetitive dives or disregarding decompression stops can cause this issue. Another cause may be that dissolved nitrogen and/or microbubbles must be off gassed first, so planning sufficiently long surface intervals and dives at lower risk is recommended.
