8.1 I-010G-A part numbers and identification

ONTs.

8.2 I-010G-A general description
The I-010G-A indoor ONT provides the subscriber interface for the network by
terminating the PON interface and converting it to user interfaces that directly
connect to subscriber devices. The ONT is compatible with all existing subscriber
equipment.
The I-010G-A indoor ONT is designed to provide voice and data services to units,
such as a residence. The I-010G-A indoor ONT can be installed horizontally or
vertically. It provides an on/off push button
These indoor ONTs provide the following functions:
• FSAN GPON standards-compliant PON
• operates on the same PON with up to 64 other ONT units
• support remote management by network management
• IP video with multistage IGMPv3 (RFC 3376) or IGMPv2 (RFC 2236) for
channel change
• receives data through the PON over a nominal 1490 nm wavelength
• operates with any LT card
• complies with the CE certification
• ability to turn on an off the UNI interfaces independently
• provides optics that support received signal strength indication (RSSI)
• G984.4 standard and revised compliant OMCI interface for ONT management
and provisioning
