level is above the lower end of the pin, see Oil
change on page 159.

• Make sure that the bearings on the spindle are
pre-lubricated.
• Check the direction of rotation by doing a
quick start/stop. The motor fan should rotate
clockwise.
5.1.1 Star t after service
Pay special attention to any unusual sounds or
vibrations when starting the separator after a
service. Different fault symptoms are listed in
chapter 7 Fault Finding on page 171.
