Steps
1. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the keyboard-controller board.
2. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the keyboard-controller board.
3. Fold up the keyboard cable.
4. Remove the five screws (M1.6x1.8) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5. Remove the three screws (M1.6x1.8) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
6. Slide the touchpad from the guides on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
7. Lift the touchpad off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
