Chapter 4 Install the Module
Precautions
Follow these precautions for use.
ATTENTION: This equipment is certified for use only within the surrounding air
temperature range of -20…+55 °C (-4…+131 °F). The equipment must not
be used outside of this range.
ATTENTION: Use only a soft dry anti-static cloth to wipe down equipment. Do
not use any cleaning agents.
ATTENTION: Electrical Safety Considerations
Power to this equipment and all connected I/O must be supplied from a source
compliant with the following:
• Class 2 approved to UL1310, does not apply to the 1734-OBV2S module.
• Limited Voltage Limited Current Supply compliant with UL508, does not apply
to the 1734-OBV2S module.
• Limited Energy Maximum 150VA, applies ONLY to 1734-OBV2S.
• SELV source approved to EN/IEC60950-1, EN/IEC61010-2-201 or
EN/IEC62368-1 (ES1)
• PELV source approved to EN/IEC60950-1, EN/IEC61010-2-201 or
EN/IEC62368-1 (ES1)
ATTENTION: if you use multiple power sources when using the 1734-IE4S
module, do not exceed the specified isolation voltage.
