EF 05, Ed 05 (Tumble Dryer Design 6)
Back EMF Error Check motor wiring.
EF 06, Ed 06
Fan or Cylinder Motor IPM Overtemp Er-
ror
IPM temperature is detected too high.
Check that heat sink on the motor(s) is
clear of lint or any other obstruction and
check that cylinder spins freely when emp-
ty. Design 6, clean inverter drive compart-
ment. Replace motor(s) or inverter drive if
error persists.
EF 07, Ed 07 (Tumble Dryer Design 6)
Drive Enable Error Check the inverter drive enable wiring be-
tween H6 header on I/O board and inverter
drive.
EF 08, Ed 08 (Tumble Dryer Designs 3
and 5, Stacked Washer-Extractor/Tumble
Dryer Designs 1 and 2)
Fan or Cylinder Motor Current Limit Error Check that fan/cylinder turns freely, make
sure machine is not overloaded. Replace
fan/cylinder motor if error persists.
EF 09, Ed 09 (Tumble Dryer Designs 3
and 5, Stacked Washer-Extractor/Tumble
Dryer Designs 1 and 2)
Fan or Cylinder Motor 460V Drive Over-
current
Check that fan/cylinder turns freely, make
sure machine is not overloaded. Replace
fan/cylinder motor if error persists.
EF 10, Ed 10
Fan or Cylinder Motor Low DC Bus Error Voltage to motor(s) or inverter drive is too
low. For 120V machines, make sure wire
harness jumper is connected which con-
nects pins 1 and 2 of the 5-pin connector
on the motor. Check voltage input and
check wiring to machine. Replace motor(s)
or inverter drive if error persists.
EF 11, Ed 11
Fan or Cylinder Motor Overload Error Check that fan or cylinder turns freely,
make sure machine is not overloaded. Er-
ror can be cleared by any key press.
EF 12, Ed 12 (Tumble Dryer Designs 3
and 5, Stacked Washer-Extractor/Tumble
Dryer Designs 1 and 2)
Fan or Cylinder Motor Microcontroller
Fault
Try to power down and power up the ma-
chine to clear the error. If error persists, re-
place fan/cylinder motor.
EF 12, Ed 12 (Tumble Dryer Design 6)
Motor System Fail Check that correct inverter drive is instal-
led. Check for correct configuration of
front end control.
Ed 13 (Tumble Dryer Designs 3 and 5,
Stacked Washer-Extractor/Tumble Dryer
Designs 1 and 2)
Cylinder Motor Hall Sensor Failure Power down machine to clear error.
EF 13, Ed 13 (Tumble Dryer Design 6)
Setup Compatibility Failure Check that correct inverter drive is instal-
led. Check for correct configuration of
front end control.
EF 14, Ed 14 (Tumble Dryer Design 6)
Power Fail Dangerous Error Check voltage to machine and voltage to
inverter drive.
