3. Check the front panels to make sure that the green POWER LED
lights.
Uplink Configuration
For 100 Mbps connection to the backbone, set the following ports to the To Hub
position:
❑ Port A of either the AT-RS710TX or the AT-RS718TX
❑ Port 8 of the AT-FS708
Figure 11 illustrates how the AT-FS708 switches can be used as an uplink to the
backbone in a typical office complex using Category 5 UTP cable.
