4 Operating instructions
4.1 Connecting the FMA03:
The FMA03 can be operated with mains power supply is included in delivery or with a
combination of battery (12 V, 60 AH) and mains. With combined operation according to
FIE regulations ALL functions of the scoring machine are also available during power
breakdown.
A combined connecting cable (special option FMA-KK) to simultaneously connect to power
supply and to battery can be ordered optionally. Alternatively, an optionally available UPS
can be used. With this UPS a mains breakdown can be handled without connecting a
battery.
4.1.1 Mains operation:
check if the supply voltage corresponds to voltage of the power supply.
(100 240V)
plug power supply cable in back of FMA03 <82>
connect power supply to power outlet.
Press power button <81> on back of FMA03
never connect the FMA03 directly (without power supply) to the power outlet.
To turn off the FMA03 press the power button <81> for +/- 2 seconds.
4.1.2 Combined mains and battery operation:
check if the supply voltage corresponds to voltage of the power supply.
(100 240V)
plug combi cable (optional) in back of FMA03 <82>
connect power supply to power outlet.
connect clamps of battery cable with battery (observe polarity)
Press power button <81> on back of FMA03
never connect the FMA03 directly (without power supply) to the power outlet
To turn off the FMA03 press the power button <81> for +/- 2 seconds.
4.2 How to use the operating button <9>
The operating button <9> is the button for selecting weapons, change to wireless mode,
assign remote controls to the FMA03, activate Slave-Mode and to enter the setup menu.
