4. To invert the display of the Slave (left side = green, right side = red) press
the operating button <9> once. The signalling lamps <1> will show the
inverted mode.
5. Pressing the operating button <9> once again, will end the inverted mode
and the signalling lamps <1> will show the normal Master/Slave Mode
again (left side = red, right side = green)
4.2.5 Assigning a remote control to your FMA03
Different FB03 remote controls operate with different transmission channels to
avoid that a remote control operation on one piste effects an other piste. Your
FMA03 comes with a remote control, that is already assigned to your device. This is
shown by a green flash on the service lamp <2> when a signal is sent by the
remote control. If a remote control is not assigned to your device, this is shown by a
red flash of the service lamp <2>. All FMA03 provide the remote control
management A.R.C. (auto remote control). Therefore, FMA03 can be programmed
to work with any remote control FB03. If you want to assign another remote control
to your device, please follow the following procedure.
1. switch on FMA03 and the remote control
2. press the operating button <9> and keep it pressed until the weapon
indicator lamps (<6>, <7> and <8>) become blue.
3. direct the remote control towards the front of the FMA03 and press and
keep pressed any of the buttons <51> to <59> on the remote control.
4. The service lamp <2> will blink 5 times in blue colour and the FMA03 will
indicate with a beep, that the new remote control has been assigned.
5. for a short time the chronometer display <5> will show “F10” and the right-
sided score display <10> will show the channel number of the remote
control assigned.

4.3 The SETTINGS menu
The FMA03 allows you to set certain properties and values to your desire. It also can show
you the status of various device settings. To enter the SETTINGS menu please follow the
following procedure:
1. press the operating button <9> and keep it pressed
2. press once the ON/OFF button <81> on the backside of the FMA03
3. the chronometer display <5> will show “F01”
4.3.1 General Procedures in the SETTINGS menu
After you have activated the SETTINGS menu you can select different functions
and assign your desired values. The number of the function selected is shown in
the chronometer display <5> (for example “F 01”). The value assigned to this
function is shown in the score display <10> (for example “00 08”). To change
settings, proceed as follows:
To select a certain function press the left-sided “score up” <51> or “score down”
<52> button on the remote control until the desired function is shown in the
chronometer display <5>.
To assign a certain value to this function press the right-sided “score up” <55>
or “score down” <56> button on the remote control until the desired value is shown
in the score display <10>
To exit the SETTINGS menu press the “chronometer reset” button <23> on the
remote control or press the operating button <9> once.
