2.5 Plug-On Spectator Lights (Option)
The FMA03 is prepared for use with an integrated set of spectator lamps. Just plug them to
the appropriate socket, ready! No further cabling is required.
2.6 Display
The following information is displayed on the LED screen:
Valid and non-valid hits.
Score.
Time.
Match number.
Yellow and red cards.
Yellow blocker lamp for foil as well as red earth lamp for epee.
Active weapon (indicated by green light)
2.7 Connections
FMA03 has a wide range of communication interfaces which allow a smooth connection to
peripheral units:
1 x RS485 by XLR 3pol. male and female
for the communication with allstar peripheral units like repetition lights, external
chronometer, slave unit, podium lights etc.
1 x RS232 by Sub-D 9pol male
1 x RS422 by Sub-D 9pol female
Transmittance protocols as well as transmittance standards can be selected on
one of these 3 interfaces, e. g. for the data exchange with screens (Kabcom,
SwissTiming), Video-refereeing system and others
1 x USB
for firmware updates without exchanging the chip (FIE updates, new functions etc)
and serial protocols.
1 x DIN 7-pin connector
for analogous connection of repetition lights.
