The AlphaVision NG control panel can be programmed to work with a doorbell function. The doorbell
function is only active when the system is in the disarmed state. The user can activate or deactivate the
doorbell function by executing function 2.
Press <?> <2> <#>, followed by a level 4 or 5 user code. The following message will appear on the display:
Doorbellfunction
is: OFF
Use the <↑> and the <↓> keys to change the presently selected option. Use the <#> key to confirm.
F3# Adjust DATE
The AlphaVision NG control panel has its own clock. To set the date in the control panel, function 3 must be
executed.
Press <?> <3> <#>, followed by a level 4 or 5 user code. The following message appears on the LCD
display:
Change date into
14-06-02 DDMMYY
For which 14-06-02 is the date set presently (June, 14th 2002). Now enter the current date. Use two digits
for the day (01-31), two digits for the month (01-12) and two digits for the year (00-99). E.g. 210502 to set
the date to the 21
st
of May 2002. When this is done, press the <#> key to confirm.
F4# Adjust TIME
To set the time in the control panel, function 4 can be used.
Press <?> <4> <#>, followed by a level 4 or 5 user code. The following message will appear on the LCD
display:
Change time into
20:15 --> HH:MM
Now enter the present time. Use two digits for the hours (00-23), and two digits for the minutes (00-59). The
AlphaVision NG control panel uses a 24 hour clock, so enter the time “quarter past eight PM” as “20.15”.
When this is done, press the <#> key to confirm.
F5# Set startdate for summer/wintertime
To set the start date for summer and wintertime, function 5 can be executed.
F6# Program user codes
Function 6 is used to program the user codes. See chapter “Program user codes” of the user manual for
further explanation.
F7# Start installation menu
To connect the AlphaVision NG control panel with the Winterm software on the PC, function 7 must be
executed. First connect the PC to the control panel with the RS-232 cable, and start up the Winterm or
Termpriv software. Then press <?> <7> <#>, followed by the installer code.
The following message will appear on the display:
Start local PC
