Attaching the Diverter to The Spout
Prepare the faucet spout and diverter
Attach the adapter to the spout.
The adapter can be attached to dierent types of faucets, include threadless, internal and external.
a. Unscrew to remove the threaded aerator cap on the faucet
spout and set aside.
I. Slide the plastic fastening ring onto the spout with the threads
facing downward.
II. Thread the metal connector onto the spout, using a coin to
tighten as shown. If the metal connector does not t, use one of
the following attachment methods.
B. Option 2 - Spout has external threads that are too small for the metal adapter:
A. Option 1 - Spout has external threads:
b. Unscrew to remove the plastic fastening ring
and metal connector from the top of the diverter.
I. Screw the threaded adapter to the metal connector and remove
the rubber washer.
II. Slide the plastic ring over the assembly and use a coin to screw
it onto the tap.
