D. Option 4 - Spout does not have threads or threads are unusable, install the Universal Adapter:
I. Unscrew the four screws on the top of the universal adapter
until the ends no longer extends into the center area of the
adapter.
II. Turn the textured adapter collar on the bottom of the adapter
clockwise until the collar ts loosely on the adapter.
1. Unscrew the adapter collar on the bottom of the universal
adapter
2. Remove the plastic sleeve inside the universal adapter.
3. Screw the adapter collar back on one half of a turn so it ts
loosely again.
III. Test t the universal adapter onto the faucet spout.
If the spout’s diameter is too large for the adapter:
IV. Press the universal adapter up to the end of the tap until it
touches the inside bottom of the adapter. Center the adapter on
the faucet spout while using a screwdriver to evenly tighten the
four screws on the side of the adapter.
V. Once the adapter is secure, turn the adapter collar on the
bottom of the universal adapter counterclockwise until it’s tight.
VI. Slide the plastic ring over the metal connector and use a coin
to screw it onto the adapter.
C. Option 3 - Spout has internal threads:
I. Screw the threaded adapter to the metal connector.
Note: The rubber washer should remain on top of the threaded
adapter
