Description
The Pressure Test Assembly, Part No. 416753 for CV-90
valves and Part No. 423923 for CV-98 valves, is required to
properly perform the semi-annual pressure check per
NFPA 2001. The pressure test assembly consists of a cali-
brated gauge, adaptor, and handwheel. The assembly is
attached to the fill port of the INERGEN
® valve. As the
handwheel is turned in, the fill port is opened and the pres-
sure is read on the gauge. After verifying the pressure in
the cylinder, the handwheel is turned out, closing the fill
port, and the assembly can be removed.
Two pressure tester convertors are also available. These
convertors allow a CV-90 pressure test assembly to be
used on a CV-98 valve and also a CV-98 pressure test
assembly to be used on a CV-90 valve.
