1.5 Get Ready for Installation
Before building your PC, clear a good-size workspace. Open the
components pack. Follow these steps:
Step 1
Carefully select the workspace. Avoid places with heavy dusts, wet or
high temperature. Stay away from other electric equipment. Especially,
the electric source and connecting parts should have a distance from
other electrical appliances to avoid electromagnetic or wireless frequency
interference. This generally should not be a problem at home. But you
should pay special attention when building the PC in other places to stay
away from heating equipment, air conditioners, copy machines, TV sets,
and wireless broadcasting stations or antennas.
Step 2
Open the components pack and count all parts in the pack. Such information
is available at the front section of this manual and make sure all the listed
items are included. Carefully secure the pack because you will need the
pack to collect the items when you have to move the PC to a new place
in the future. In case there are items missing in the pack, contact your PC
dealer immediately to make up all components and accessories.
Step 3
Connecting parts and components: Connect all cables with respective
sockets and plug power cable into power source socket.
Caution: Make sure all wires and cables are connected before you connect
power cable and switch on power source.
