4.3 TUNE Control
The TUNE Control sets the frequency of the second-order high pass filter in
"Ax Sidechain" that establishes the frequency domain for the Aural Excite
ment effect. The control range extends from 700 Hz to 7 kHz and is similar
to all other TUNE Controls found on other Aural Exciter models.
Fig. 4-5 demonstrates the range of the TUNE Control from 700 Hz to 7 kHz
with minimum NULL FILL (see Section 4.5) and PEAKING Control (see
Section 4.4) set at a 12 o' clock position. As you read the following sections
on PEAKING and NULL FILL, notice the interaction these controls have on
TUNE, as well as on each other.
