16. Loosen clutch cable adjustment nuts.
17. Remove cable adjustment barrel from cable bracket.
18. Rotate clutch actuating lever clockwise to remove
tension from clutch cable spring and remove spring
from lever. See Figure 13.

19. Position a pry bar or similar tool through anti-rotation
arm to stabilize clutch and remove shoulder bolt.
20. Slowly rotate clutch counterclockwise until clutch
spring tension is released. Remove pry bar.

CAUTION: AVOID INJURY. Clutch is under
spring tension. Use care when releasing spring
from spring anchor.
