1.4 Installation mode and start-up
Once you have inserted the batteries during the installation of the security fitting, it is fully operational.
The security fitting is in installation mode.
This means:
Q The external door handle is activated i.e. released for operating.
Q The door can now be opened both from the inside and the outside.
Q All memories are empty:
No master finger is stored.
No cancel finger is stored.
No user finger is stored.
Q You can switch back and forth between activate and deactivate with any finger.
1.4.1 Testing the basic functions
Notice
You can switch back and forth between activated and deactivated with any finger. A deactivated state
means that the external door handle is not operational. The door can only be opened from the inside.
Q Deactivate the external door handle:

beep flashing
Draw one finger over the sensor.
The external door handle is deactivated.
The door can only be opened from the inside.
You will hear an audible signal.
(and flashing alternately for a few seconds.
Wait until the displays go out.
Notice
The electronics is waiting for a programming operation.
The displays flash alternately for a few seconds.
Wait until the displays go out.
Q Activate the external door handle:

beep…… … flashing
Draw one finger over the sensor.
The external door handle is now activated.
You will hear an audible signal.
Flashing.
Open the door.
The door can be opened from the inside and the outside.
