8. External Output
◇ Connecting/disconnecting the cable and terminal: Before connecting/disconnecting the cable and
terminal, be sure the display section's power switch is turned off and the power supply cable is
unplugged. Attempting to connect/disconnect the cable and terminal while the instrument is powered
on may increase the risk of electric shock.
The display section contains three external output ports: a recorder output (4 to 20mA) port, an RS-232C
output port, and an alarm output cable port (Fig.8-1).

Refractive index, Brix or concentration and temperature (0 to 100˚C) are generated as recorder
outputs (4 to 20mA) by the detection section.
Insert the recorder output cable (included) into the port on the rear of the display section.
