7. Connecting the Detection Section to the
Display Section
◇ Connecting/disconnecting the cable and connector: Before connecting/disconnecting the cable and
connector, be sure the display section's power switch is turned off and the power supply cable is
unplugged. Attempting to connect/disconnect the cable and connector while the instrument is powered
on may increase the risk of electric shock.
m When using the display section's terminals, be sure to remove the metal caps, as well as the rubber
caps (Fig.7-1).
After mounting the detection section on the piping, connect it to the display section with the DS-2 cable
(included) (Fig.7-2).
