Settings
The
1792
communicates
with
you
us-
ing
sophisticated
interactive
voice
re-
sponse
techniques.
The audible
prompting,
along
with
visual
displays
on
the
LCD
panel,
make
it
easy
to
cus-
tomize
your
1792
to
your
exact
needs.
Examine
the
unit;
you
will
notice
that
there
are
a
series
of
functions
printed
on
a
swiveling
front
panel.
For
each
function,
there
is
a
corresponding
but-
ton.
If
you
flip
this
panel
down
(see
below)
you
will
reveal
an
additional
set
of
functions
for
each
button.
This
means
that
each
button
can
perform
two
func-
tions
depending
upon
whether
the
flip
down
panel
is
up
or
down.
For
example,
when
the
lid
is
up
and
you
press
the
button
corresponding
to
GREETING/ANNOUNCE,
this
function
is
en-
acted.
But
when the
lid
is
down
and
you
press
the
same
button,
the
TIME/DATE
feature
is
activated.
Most
of
the
time,
you
won't
be
using
the
functions
under
the
lid. These
are
primarily
used
for
the
initial
setup
of
your
1792,
for
example,
the
time
and
date
on
the
display.
You
should
take
the
time
to
read
through
all
the
instructions
to
gain
an
understanding
of
the interaction
of
the
system.
