7-second

a

digit
in
the
phone
number
string.
This
lets the
1792
dial:
e
A
number
where
it
is
necessary
to
wait
several
seconds
for
a
dial
tone.
e
A
PBX,
which
then
answers
and
of-
fers
a
menu
before
continuing
to
dial
the
number.
e
A
number
which
requires
symbols
af-
ter
an
extension
number,
pager
identi-
fication
number,
etc.
To
add
a
pause,
press
[*]
[5]
during
pro-
gramming.
Each
press
of
[*][5]
will
add
a
7-second
pause
to
the
number
string.
