the

Greeting
function,
flip
the
panel
down
and
press
the
button
marked
MAIN
GREETING.
You
will
hear:
“Main
Greeting.
To
play
Main
Greet-
ing,
press
1.
To
attach
message
to
the
Main
Greeting,
press
2.
To
de-
lete
Main
Greeting,
press
3.
To
re-
cord
Main
Greeting,
press
7.
To
record
voice
prompts,
press
8.
To
repeat
the
menu,
press
0.
To
exit
from
the
menu,
press
#.”
To
Play
Main
Greeting,
Press
1
If
you
wish
to
playback
the
current
Main
Greeting,
press
the
button
below
the
[1].
If
you
haven't
yet
recorded
a
Main
Greeting,
you
will
hear
the
factory
de-
fault
greeting:
“No
one
is available
to
take
your
call.”
After
the
prompt,
the
Main
Greeting
Menu
replays.
You
can
exit
the
menu,
or
continue
with
additional
functions.
To
Attach
a
Message,
Press
2
The
Attach
Message
function
lets
you
record
and
attach
a
message
at
the
end
of
your
Main
Greeting. Usually,
you
will
want
to
attach
a
message
which
you
in-
tend
to
delete
after
a
few
days.
An
ex-
ample
of
an
Attach
Message
is:
“Sorry,
the
office
is
closed
today
due
to
the
national
holiday.”
Press
the button
below
[2].
You
will
hear:
“Enter
attach
message.
To
record
the
attach
message,
press
7.
To
re-
peat
the
menu,
press
0.
To
exit
from
menu,
press
#.”’
You
are
prompted
to
select
the
desired
line,
and
then
to
begin
recording
at
the
tone.
When
finished,
press
the
button
below the
[#].
The
1792
will
give
you
the
opportunity
to
hear,
delete
or
re-record
your
Attach
Message.
To
Record
Main
Greeting,
Press
7
To record
your
Main
Greeting,
press
the
button below
the
[7],
and
follow
the
voice
prompts.
You
are
given
the
option
of
playing
and
recording
a
different
Main
Greeting
for
each
of
the
two
lines,
or
to
record
one
Main
Greeting
to
be
played
for
both
lines.
When
recording
from
the
microphone
you
should
be
in
a
quiet
area.
Speak
clearly
and
normally
at
8
-
10 inches
from
the
microphone.
You
can
also
re-
cord
the
Main
Greeting
from
the
hand-
set
of
a
remote
telephone.
