Notify
The
Pager
Notification function
is
similar
to
Call
Forwarding.
It
routes
callers
to
your
pager
service
where
they
can
re-
quest
to
have
you
paged.
1.
Press
SELECT
MAILBOX
and
then
press
the
button
marked
PAGER.
2.
All
of
the
same
phone
number
choices
are
possible
here
as
described
under
Call
Forward
and
Entering
Special
Numbers.
You
can
give
instructions
in
your
greeting
to
tell
callers
how
to
interact
with
your
pag-
ing
service.
Since
the
1792
di-
als
your
paging
service,
you
don’t
have
to
worry
about
call-
ers
paging
you
when
you
don’t
want
them
to
when
Pager
Notification
is
off,
callers
can’t
page
you.
Remote
Urgent
Message
Notification
Remote
Notification
lets
you
program
a
number
where
the
1792
can
reach
you
to
notify
you
that
there
is
an
urgent
message
waiting
for
you
in
your
mail-
box.
When
Remote
Notify
is
on,
callers
are
asked
if
their
message
is
urgent.
If
they
indicate
that
it
is
(by
pressing
a
button
on
the
telephone),
the
1792
will
call
you
at
the
number
you
have
pro-
grammed
and
play
the
prompt:
“Remote
Notify
for
mailbox
X.
Press
+.”
You
are
then
prompted
to
enter
your
4-
digit
security
code.
You
can
then
re-
trieve
the
message
by
pressing
[1].

Press
SELECT
MAILBOX
and
then
press
the
button
marked
REMOTE
NOTIFY.
2.
The
prompts
follow
the
same
format
as
described
for
Call
Forward.

The
1792
will
attempt
to
try
to
reach
you
two
times
at
five-min-
ute
intervals.
You
should
pick
up
your
urgent
messages
as
soon
as
possible.
