Call
When
the
1792
answers,
your
caller
hears
either
a
pre-recorded
Main
Greet-
ing
(“No
one
is
available
to
take
your
call.”)
or
your
custom
Main
Greeting.
The
caller
responds
to
the
Main
Greet-
ing
by
selecting
a
mailbox
using
the
ap-
propriate
key
on
the
telephone
(rotary
phone
users
will
be
routed
to
mailbox
1
to
leave
a
message).
The
caller
then
hears
either
the
pre-recorded
Mailbox
Greeting
(“Please leave
your
message
af-
ter
the
tone.
”)
or
personalized
greeting
such
as:
“Hi,
this is
Mike.
|
can’t
an-
swer
your
call
at
this
time,
but
leave
your
name
and
number and
I'll
get
back
to
you.”
A
caller
can
return
to
the
Main
Greeting
by
pressing
[0] while
in
any
mailbox.
Call
Forward
Operation
When
a
caller
selects
a
mailbox
set
for
Call
Forward,
the
unit
prompts:
“To
re-
cord
a
message,
press
0.
To
forward
your
call,
press
1.”
If
the
caller
presses
[1] the 1792
then
uses
the
second
line
to
dial
and
forward
the
call.
Pager
Notify/Remote
Notify
If
Call
Forward,
Pager
Notify,
and
Re-
mote
Notify
are
all
activated,
the
caller
will
not
be
offered
the
Pager
Notify
and/or
Remote
Notify
options
unless
the
caller
presses
[0]
to
leave
a
message
or
if
the
Call
Forward
attempt
was
unsuc-
cessful.
Specific
operation
depends
on
the
inter-
action
of
Call
Forward,
Remote
Notify
and
Pager
Notify
features
as
described
below:

If
Remote
Notify
and
Pager
Notify
are
both
off,
the
caller
hears
the
Mailbox
Greeting
and
can
leave
a
message.

If
Remote
Notify
is
on,
the
caller
is
prompted:
“/f
your
message
is
ur-
gent,
press
1.
If
your
message
is
not
urgent,
press
2."
If
the
caller
presses
[1],
the
unit
calls
the
Remote
Notify
number
(after
the
caller
leaves
a
mes-
sage
and
hangs
up),
and
informs
the
owner
of
an
urgent
message.
If
the
caller
presses
[2],
the
1792
takes
the
message
without
informing
the
owner.

If
just
Pager
Notify
is
on,
the
caller
is
prompted:
“To
leave
a
message,
press
2.
To
call
forward
to
pager,
press
3.”
If
the
caller
presses
[2],
the
unit
plays
the
Mailbox
Greeting
and
takes
a
message.
If
the
caller
presses
[3],
the
call
is
forwarded
to
the
pager
service.

If
Remote
Notify
and
Pager
Notify
are
both
on,
the
caller
is
prompted
“/f
your
message
is
urgent,
press
1.
If
your
message
is
not
urgent,
press
2.
To
call
forward
to
pager,
press
3.”
If
the
caller
presses
[3],
the
call
is
for-
warded
to
the
pager
number.
