Messages
Use the Messages app to send and receive text (SMS) and multimedia
(MMS) messages.
To access Messages, press the Messages key on the keypad or press
the OK key from the Home screen and select Messages from the
Apps Menu.
Sending a text (SMS) message
1. From the Messages screen, press the Left Menu key to write a
new message.
2. Enter the phone number of the recipient in the To eld at the top of the
screen or press the Right Menu key to add a contact.
3. Press down on the Navigation key to access the Message eld and
type your message.
4. Press the Left Menu key to send the message.
An SMS message of more than 145 characters will be sent as multiple
messages. Certain characters may count as 2 characters.
