Problem Possible Solution
Cant access
the Internet
Make sure your AT&T Wireless Internet device is powered on. Slide
the On/O switch to the ON position. The
Power
light should
turn solid green.
For Wi-Fi: Make sure your AT&T Wireless Internet device is located
in the general area of your Wi-Fi enabled device(s). Check that
your device is connected to the AT&T Wireless Internet device’s
Wi-Fi network (e.g., ATT-WI-XXXX) and that you are using the
correct Wi-Fi password.
For Ethernet: Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely inserted
into the Ethernet port on the back of the AT&T Wireless Internet
device and your computer (or other device).
Move the AT&T Wireless Internet device to an area with sucient
network signal (three [3] to four [4] bars).
Make sure the Wi-Fi
light is on. If it is not, restart your
AT&T Wireless Internet device as follows: Slide the On/O switch
to the OFF position. Then slide the On/O switch to the ON
position; the
Power
light should turn solid green.
Check the following on the AT&T Wireless Internet Manager
(http://att.wirelessinternet):
Under Settings Wi-Fi Basic: Broadcast Network Name (SSID)
is set to “Enable”
Under Settings Network APN: Prole Selection is set to
ATT Nextgenphone”
Under Settings Firewall MAC/IP/Port Filtering: The rewall
is not set to block your device’s IP and MAC address.
