Accessing the Web User Interface (WebUI)
To access the WebUI:
1. Ensure that your computer is connected to the same network as the Syn248 system.
In most cases, your computer will already be connected to the network through the
PC port on the back of a Deskset.
2. On the Deskset, press (MENU) and then 4 to display Deskset Information.
3. On the Deskset Information screen, find the IP Address.
4. On your computer, open an Internet browser.
5. Type the Deskset IP address in the browser address bar, and press ENTER on your
computer keyboard.
6. A Login page appears.
7. Under Login Name, log on as a user by typing your extension number.
8. Enter your password if you have created one (see “Setting and Changing Your
Password” on page 95). Otherwise, leave the password blank.
9. Click .
You can create or change your user password once you have logged on.
The Basic Settings page shown in Figure 26 on page 103 appears.

Changing a setting does not instantly apply the new value. Clicking
saves and applies all changes on that page.
