◼ Both Zoom Phone systems (ZPLS and Cloud) operates with SIP-over-
TLS transport type.
◼ Generic SIP Trunk can operate with SIP-over-UDP or SIP-over-TCP or
SIP-over-TLS transport type (depends on the particular provider).
Codecs Transcoding
◼ Both Zoom Phone systems support OPUS, G.711A-law, G.711U-law
and G.729 coders.
◼ Generic SIP Trunk supports G.711A-law, G.711U-law, and G.729
coders (or other coders, depending on the requirement).
Media Transcoding
◼ Both Zoom Phone systems operate with SRTP media type.
◼ Generic SIP Trunk operates with RTP media type.
