2.2.2 Power Sources
The VCI device can receive power from the following sources:
Vehicle power
AC/DC power supply
Vehicle Power
The VCI device operates on 6 or 12 Volt vehicle power, which receives
power via the vehicle data connection port. The device powers on whenever
it is connected to an OBD II/EOBD compliant data link connector (DLC).
AC/DC Power Supply
The VCI device can be powered from a wall socket using the AC/DC power
adapter. The user can charge the flashlight on the VCI by this way.
