LUBRICATING THE BEARINGS
• The bearings are lubricated at the factory, and a
similar lubricant should be used for subsequent
lubrication (Shell Alvania Grease R 3. or Kendall
L427). An excessive amount of grease causes
overheating and impairs lubrication.
• Lubricate the bearings every 200 working hours or
at least once a year.
1. Open the upper bearing housing - see bearing
housing assembly drawing, (pic. 7a). Remove old
grease as carefully as possible and replace it with
new grease. Do not ll the bearing housing with
grease.
2. Install the upper bearing housing and tighten to
50 Nm.
