Mounting on a table or shelf
About this task
This procedure describes how to mount 5000 Series switches on a table or a shelf.
A single 5000 Series switch can be installed on any flat surface. The surface should be able
to support the combined weight of the switch and attached cables; between 21 and 33 lbs (9.5
to 15 kg) for a 5600 Series switch.
Procedure
1. Attach the provided rubber footpads to the bottom of the switch in the locations
shown in the following figure.
