b. Install the authentication file.
22. If this server is an LSP, and if you did not use the Restart CM button on the License File
Install Results web page after installing the license in step 23, issue these commands from
the server command line:
a. stop -af or stop -caf to stop the LSP
b. start -a or start -ca to start the LSP
23. Re-enable alarm origination, if necessary:
a. At the server command line type almenable -d b -s y and press Enter, where:
-d b sets the dialout option to both numbers
-s y enables sending SNMP traps
b. Type almenable without any options and press Enter to verify that alarm origination is
enabled.
Note:
Note: Is the server is restored from backup set (_os or _full datasets), the settings for
alarm origination are restored to the time of the backup.
24. Logoff the system.
