Install the replacement hard drive or server
Note: If you are replacing both the server and the hard drive, complete Steps 1 and 2,
then skip to Step 10
and complete the remainder of this section.
To install a new hard drive and/or replace the S8300C or S8300D Server:
1. Loosen the two thumb screws on the S8300C or S8300D Server.
2. Remove the S8300C or S8300D Server from the media gateway.
3. From the bottom of the S8300C or S8300D Server, remove the two screws that attach to the
hard-drive standoffs (Refer to Figure 3: S8300C hard drive replacement
on page 25).
