The system displays a blank screen.2

• Verify the power cord of the XT Codec Unit is connected properly at both ends.4
• Verify the monitor’s power cord is connected properly at both ends.5

Check that the monitor is connected to HD1
and the power is on.6
•
Verify the XT Codec Unit’s LED is on. If the LED is blinking, press the Power key on the7
XT Remote Control Unit.8
• Make sure the XT Codec Unit output is properly connected to the monitor input. Make sure9
the monitor/DVI cable is connected properly at both ends.10
Screen layout cropped11
The screen layout appears to be cropped.12
Configure the monitor layout as described below.13
1. From the endpoint's main menu, select Configure > Quick Setup.14
2. Select Next to navigate to the Configure Monitor page.15
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to adjust the image.16
When you adjust the image, 4K output is automatically disabled.17
If necessary, refer to
Adjusting the Image Position on page 38 for operational information.18
Menus or remote presentation cropped19
The system menus or the remote presentation appears to be cropped.20

Adjust the way the image appears on the monitor. To see your adjustments in real-time, we22
recommend performing this procedure from the endpoint itself.23
If configuring from the endpoint, you must first enable advanced configuration, as described in 24

1. Access the monitor settings. From the XT Series web interface, select Administrator26
settings > I/O connections > Monitor > Graphic Adjustments. From the endpoint's27
main menu, select Configure > Advanced > I/O connections > Monitor > Graphic28
Adjustments.29
2. Navigate to the monitor requiring adjustment (Monitor HD1 or Monitor HD2).30
3. Select your preferred image view mode. On the XT Executive, use the Monitor HD2 area.31
