3. To add a new contact, access the local contacts list. From the XT Series web interface,6
select Make your call > Contacts > New Favorite. From the endpoint's main menu,7
select Contacts > New Favorite.8
You can also add a contact from the recent calls list (see further down below).9

Enter the following details. When you are done, select Save (web interface only).12

Field Name Description
Name Enter the contact's name.
Number Enter the dial string to contact this endpoint. It can be a
number, an H.323 alias like john_smith, or a URI address like
john@company.com.
