-Folder:Enterthepathtothedirectorywhereyouwanttostorefiles.Ifthisdirectory
doesn’talreadyexistontheFTPserver,youwillgetanerrormessagewhen
uploadingfiles.
-Username:Entertheusernameforthelogin.
-Password:Enterthepasswordforthelogin.
-Usetemporaryfilename:Selecttouploadfileswithtemporary,automatically
generatedfilenames.Thefilesgetrenamedtothedesirednameswhentheupload
completes.Iftheuploadisaborted/interrupted,youdon’tgetanycorruptfiles.
However,youprobablystillgetthetemporaryfiles.Thiswayyouknowthatallfiles
thathavethedesiredname,arecorrect.
-UsepassiveFTP:Undernormalcircumstancestheproductsimplyrequeststhetarget
FTPservertoopenthedataconnection.ThedeviceactivelyinitiatesboththeFTP
controlanddataconnectionstothetargetserver.Thisisnormallyneededifthereisa
firewallbetweenthedeviceandthetargetFTPserver.
