Joining an Existing Secured HomePlugAV Network
To enable a new device to join an existing network, the Simple Connect button will
copy the Private Network Name of the existing network to the new HomePlugAV.
You only have to pair the new HomePlugAV device to any of the devices within the
existing HomePlugAV Network by pressing the Simple connect button. If you pressed
the Simple Connect from multiple HomePlugAVs, only the signal from the first two
devices will be processed.
To join an existing Secured HomePlugAV network using Simple Connect:
Step 1
Plug HomePlugAV X beside your existing HomePlugAV device. It is important to
ensure that you can easily observe the LED behavior of the HomePlugs.
Upon connection, HomePlug X’s LEDs will blink simultaneously and then the Power
LED lights ON steadily. Ethernet LED will be ON if there is an ethernet link.
